Billoop is built and operated by Ismat Babirli (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what Billoop does and does not do with your information.
The short version: Billoop stores everything you enter on your own device. We do not run a server, we do not have an account system, and we cannot see your data.
Who we are
- Developer: Ismat Babirli
- Contact: i.b.babir@gmail.com
What Billoop stores
The app stores the information you choose to enter about your subscriptions and free trials, including:
- service names, logos, and categories you assign
- prices and currencies
- billing dates, renewal cadence, and free-trial end dates
- any notes you attach to an entry
This data is held on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. Billoop does not transmit it to any server we control.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, Billoop syncs your data through your own private CloudKit database (iCloud.com.ismatbabirli.SnapSub). Apple acts as the data processor under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We have no server-side access to the contents of your private database. You can disable sync in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Billoop.
Notifications
If you grant notification permission, Billoop uses Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to deliver renewal and trial-expiry reminders. The device token used for delivery is a random identifier issued by Apple; Billoop does not pair it with personal information. Reminder content is composed on your device — the messages do not pass through a server we operate. You can revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Billoop.
What Billoop does not do
- No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking
- No advertising or advertising identifiers
- No third-party SDKs
- No bank, credit-card, or financial-account linking
- No account creation, sign-in, or email collection
- No selling or sharing of personal information
Permissions we request
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Notifications | Reminders before renewals and at the end of free trials |
| iCloud (optional) | Sync your subscriptions across your own Apple devices |
Children
Billoop is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Because the app does not collect personal information at all, no special handling is required.
Your data, your device
Because everything lives on your device or in your private iCloud database, the standard iOS controls cover access, export, and deletion:
- Access / export: open the app to view your entries.
- Deletion: delete an entry inside the app, or uninstall Billoop to remove the local copy. Data in your private CloudKit database can be removed via iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Billoop.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the effective date above and publish the revised version at the same URL. Material changes will be called out in the app’s release notes.
